CELEBRATING NEW COLLECTORS AND FANS!

5/20/2016

When asked which of my paintings is my personal favorite, I'm ready with this answer: The one that just sold.

But I'm quick to explain: When someone loves my work enough to buy it and take it home, well, that's the best compliment ever!

Three of "my favorite: paintings have found new homes in the last few weeks! Two are now showcased in a lovely home in Seguin, Texas: "Summer Festival," a 30x30 that was inspired by a trip to Jackson, Wyoming, a few years back, and "Twilight Gold," one of my more recent autumn Aspen paintings. Meanwhile, "Nature's Gold" from my California poppy series and shown in the photo to the left, went home with a new collecter in Kyle, Texas. As always, I'm honored when someone chooses my art to brighten their homes and lives!

MAY IS OFF TO A GREAT START!

Above are a few photos from the 2016 Spring Downtown New Braunfels Art Walk. We had a wonderful turnout and several sales, including "Magenta Magic" that went home with Kathy and Jerry to add to their collection of my art!
The month of May began with the final day for the Downtown New Braunfels Art Walk on Sunday, May 1. Since my studio is located above the New Braunfels Art League Gallery, a wonderful co-op gallery where I've been a member going on 14 years or so, it's a great opportunity to have be open for a meet-n-greet to see old friends and to make some new ones, too!
The following day, David and I made a trip up to Austin to install several of my paintings for a solo exhibit at Kerbey Lane Cafe's UT location. The decor is so an amazing match for my colorful wildflowers, don't you agree? The show continues through July 4 so if you are in the area, please check it out!
We also received word this past week that I've been accepted into the 2016 Ruidoso Art Festival in beautiful New Mexico! You'll find us there July 22-24.
As always, thanks for your interest in what's going on in my "life as an artist." Blessings to you and yours!
